Your initial visit will begin with a comprehensive examination performed by Dr. Gregory J Daniels. It is designed so that any conditions that may jeopardize your long term health can be identified. Your desires and needs are discussed and a plan of action begins to take shape. You will know within a few minutes whether Hinsdale Dentist is the dental practice for you.

PATIENT COMFORT
We provide Nitrous Oxide inhalation anxiolysis treatment for our patients who have serious fear of dental procedures. Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas), takes the edge off anxiety without the heavy medication required for general anesthesia. The groggy feeling imparted by the gas wears off within just a few minutes, allowing a person to return to normal function…even to drive home or back to work.

MECHANICAL DENTISTRY
The mouth is a complex machine. Consideration of the mechanics of chewing assures the success and longevity of treatment both in simple procedures, and especially when performing dentistry which restores function to the broken components of the system. Dr. Gregory Daniels has years of experience that provide a strong foundation to treat the most complex oral rehabilitation cases.

PAIN MANAGEMENT
A thorough knowledge of jaw mechanic is also required in the treatment of head, neck, facial, and jaw joint pain. This is often the result of conflict in the way teeth meet together during function and parafunction (tooth grinding). Dr. Gregory J Daniels uses conservative techniques such as bite adjustment and the use of nightguards. These treatments have been proven effective by many scientific studies over several decades.
